Other services

The air conditioning system, like all other units in your vehicle, requires regular maintenance. The air conditioning system consumes around 5 to 10% of its refrigerant every year.
An insufficient amount of fluid reduces the cooling capacity of the air conditioning system and leads to the compressor being overloaded. The air conditioning system also contains several wearing parts (cabin air filter, filter dryer), which should preferably be replaced periodically. The evaporator and the ventilation lines, in turn, can be infested with mold, bacteria or mites, which not only leads to unpleasant odors in the interior, but can also trigger allergies.

We carry out the following maintenance work on air conditioning systems:

• Treat the air conditioning system's refrigerant evaporator with disinfectant
• Maintain the air conditioning system (vacuuming, filtering, drying, topping up and filling, system check)
• Air conditioning system maintenance incl. disinfection of the refrigerant evaporator

Exhaust gas test

Since January 2013, vehicles with an on-board diagnostic system (OBD) that comply with the Euro 3 standard no longer need to have an emissions test carried out. If the vehicle is not yet equipped with OBD, the law still requires this important maintenance work to be carried out every two years

Whether your vehicle meets this standard can be found on the vehicle registration document (field 72). With the following codes, emissions are monitored automatically using the OBD system: B03, B04, B5a, B5b, B6a, B6b, B6c, A04, A05, A07.

In this case, an emissions test only needs to be carried out if the OBD error display lights up within one month. Important: The emissions document must bear the inscription OBD-2 system. If you are unsure, please contact us. We will be happy to help you.

We have a diagnostic device that can communicate with all of the vehicle's control units. The specialist in the workshop is therefore able to:

• read, interpret and reset all error codes stored in the control units
• execute the service reset
• display all parameters, both numerically and graphically
• reliably diagnose and evaluate the failure of sensors, control units and other electronic components
• reprogram certain control units, entering the data specified by the manufacturer
