Wegmüller Antoine

In addition to Western medicine, there are several other types of medicine such as Chinese medicine.

This is based on the principle of energy and is founded on Yin Yang. Antoine Wegmüller is a practitioner of Chinese medicine.

From 1995 to 2001, he underwent basic training at the Guang Ming Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine with Pierre Sterckx and Chen Jun. He obtained a degree in acupuncture and pharmacopoeia, and has been carrying out acupuncture clinical internships in hospitals in Nanchang, Beijing, Changchun, Kunming and Nanjing since 1995.

During 2006, he completed advanced acupuncture training at the Jinling Institute with Professor Amad Maholida. He also attended further training at the Institut CHU Zhen in Paris, an acupuncture and pharmacopoeia clinic, and postgraduate training at Nanjing University, obtaining a Master's degree in acupuncture in 2009.

He is recognized by ASCA, a foundation for complementary medicine, RME (the register for empirical medicine) and APTN (Association des praticiens en thérapies naturelles) in Switzerland.

He set up a Chinese medicine practice with Janine Fleury in Lausanne, Switzerland. He has over 20 years of practice to his credit. His Chinese medicine methods include acupuncture, auriculo-acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, Chinese pharmacopoeia and dietetics, moxibition and guasha. He specializes in internal medicine, general gynecology and fertility support, but deals with all general health and well-being issues. His practice offers training programs in Chinese medicine to help practitioners wishing to update their knowledge, and he offers courses, seminars and conferences led by experienced teachers or practitioners.
