Founded in 1883 in Sainte-Imier, Maison Canton Fourrures moved to Rue de Bourg in Lausanne in 1918 and was run by the Canton family.
In 2011, the boutique moved to Rue du Grand-Chêne. And in 2013, Maison Canton reopened its doors next to the Lausanne Palace.
On June 1, 2023, Maison Canton will move to Rue Caroline 1, 1003 Lausanne.
Over the years, the company has built up a reputation in the Lausanne region and throughout French-speaking Switzerland, particularly for its furs and leather goods.
