Magasin du monde

L'Association romande des Magasins du Monde (ASRO), brings together 35 Magasins du Monde (MdM) throughout French-speaking Switzerland. The Magasins du Monde are organized into local and regional associations. The movement lives and evolves thanks to the volunteers, who form the basis and vital energy of the Magasins du Monde !

The fair trade approach is intended to be educational and political : it goes beyond its purely commercial function. ASRO and Magasins du Monde are a space for civic engagement and participate in the project of a social and solidarity-based economy. Their mission is defined in their Charter.
