For three generations...

At the dawn of the 20th century, Maison Aegerter began selling coal with the aim of reducing supply distances and thus transport costs by favoring rail transport.

In the 1960s, the company switched to fuel oil, a cleaner energy source. Christian Aegerter took over the management of the company and developed a local storage and logistics infrastructure aimed at reducing transport costs and times.

Always at the cutting edge of technology, in the 1980s Maison Aegerter developed one of the first computer systems in French-speaking Switzerland to simplify customer procedures.

Shortly thereafter, Christian Aegerter, surrounded by the best chemists, created Mazout Extra Vert with the aim of reducing the ecological footprint with better energy performance.

At the dawn of the 21st century, the Avia group acquired Maison Aegerter, led by François Roger, who continued this tradition of innovation and ecology by joining forces with the Suruy people and financing the reforestation of the Amazon. To date, more than 4,000 km², equivalent to the cantons of Geneva and Vaud combined, have been reforested.
