Epices & Riz – Contacts & Location
Description
Delicatessen in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne
.For Epices & Riz, we're a bit like Jean who cries and Jean who laughs.
Jean who cries because Pascal Commissaire has taken the decision to cease his business, started at Le Mont in 1998. We are very grateful to Pascal Commissaire for bringing Epices&Riz to Le Mont. He delighted us with his carefully selected products. His smiling welcome turned every visit to his store into a warm moment, full of stories and advice. We wish him good health and a retirement full of passions.
Born into a family for whom the culinary and commercial trades hold no secrets, this native of Burgundy lived in the commune from 2003 to 2005 and is already planning to move back. Her career path is impressive: after studying at the Ecole hôtelière in Semur-en-Auxois, she worked at the Beau Rivage, then at Globus for 7 years and finally in a delicatessen in Lausanne for 14 years. In this vintage Ali Baba's cave (she feels like she's walking into the shop her grandparents used to run), Alexia Bertauche will be offering the flagship products that Pascal Commissaire has hooked us on, complementing the range with carefully selected specialties featuring, in particular, Lausanne artisans and... Burgundy mustards.
