KiTa Obersimmental Lenk

Since April 2008, KiTA Obersimmental has been offering its services as a professional childcare facility in Zweisimmen to supplement family care. It is operated in accordance with cantonal guidelines. The association is bound by the authorization of the Health and Welfare Directorate (GEF) of the Canton of Bern to run a KiTA.

• The daycare center is open to all children and accepts children from 3 months of age (usually until they start kindergarten).

• Admission is independent of origin, religion, nationality, and income.

• The association's board/operating committee may also accept children of holiday guests if there are enough places available. The cost of childcare must be paid in full. The board sets daily and half-day flat rates.

The Obersimmental daycare center can care for 22 children at a time. Since November 2010, there has been another location in Lenk.
