With over thirty years of experience in the trade of paintings, antique furniture, and objets d'art, Galerie Tonon has acquired extensive expertise in these fields and is able to provide reliable appraisals and expert assessments at the request of individuals or insurance companies.

The Gallery purchases paintings, antique furniture, and objects for cash; it also accepts items on consignment.

It also displays antique furniture and objets d'art: silverware, lighting, clocks, porcelain, sculptures, and glassware.

Once a year, Galerie Tonon organizes an exhibition dedicated to Swiss painting, with a particular focus on the Geneva school of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Galerie Tonon was founded in 1970 by Paolo Tonon, initially at 52 Boulevard Saint-Georges in Geneva. In 1987, he was joined by his daughter Josy, who took on responsibility for organizing exhibitions.

On November 14, 1996, the gallery inaugurated a new space at 9 Boulevard du Théâtre, a few steps from Place Neuve and the Grand Théâtre de Genève. In this new space, the gallery permanently displays a wide selection of European paintings: Swiss, German, French, Dutch, and Italian from the 17th to the 20th century.
