Stiftung Blaues Kreuz beider Basel

The Stiftung Blaues Kreuz / MUSUB beider Basel is a politically and denominationally independent organization for addiction support and prevention. Founded in 2014 by the associations Blaues Kreuz Baselland and Basel-Stadt, the foundation was expanded in 2018 to include the Multicultural Addiction Counseling Center (MUSUB). The foundation offers the population of the Basel region a differentiated counseling and prevention program for various forms of addiction and diverse psychosocial issues. Services are open to all people seeking help, regardless of their religious and cultural affiliation. The foundation provides confidential, free counseling for individuals dealing with substance dependencies including alcohol, cannabis, smoking, medicines, heroin, cocaine, and behavioral addictions such as social media, gambling, video games, and shopping. Support is also available for family members and significant others affected by a loved one's addiction.
