ACS Ticino section
With you for more peaceful mobility
With around 10,000 members, the Ticino section is currently the fourth largest in Switzerland in terms of the Swiss Automobile Club. It is deeply committed to protecting the interests of motorists at an institutional level and is involved in everything related to mobility: from roadside assistance to training, from safety to motor sports.
The offices are located in the historic building at Via Trevani 5 in Locarno, the hub of activities for members and the headquarters of the travel agency. However, the ACS also has a presence in Lugano, at Via Dufour 1, where it plays an important administrative role, particularly in relation to ticketing, event planning, and cross-border relations (issuing carnet de passage, selling viagard cards for Italian motorways, Area C, etc.).
The ACS Ticino section in a nutshell: what we offer
- Roadside assistance, travel cancellation insurance, and legal protection
There are six types of membership: "Light," "Classic," "Travel," "Classic + Travel," "Premium," and "Companies." Our solutions, especially for families, are the most affordable in Switzerland. Our roadside assistance is among the best.
- Medical assistance
The ACS Medical Hotline supports our members wherever they are, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call +41 31 337 06 77.
