It is carried out by specialized personnel by spraying a disinfectant chemical that is sprayed into the environment in micro particles. This increases the contact surface area, amplifying the disinfection action with less contact time and ensuring optimal virus and bacteria abatement at all times. 

The mist generated spreads rapidly in the environment, even going into any machinery present, ensuring optimal product diffusion and coverage.

The product used is non-residual and has a rapid degradation of about two hours. The disinfectant spreads evenly over every square centimeter of free surface present in the environment and for every volume of air without generating moisture, corrosion and residue. The rapid decomposition makes the compound non-toxic and non-carcinogenic to personnel who are not allowed to be present during treatment anyway, but highly efficient against viruses and bacteria.

Environmental sanitization by misting is not a definitive treatment, so it is recommended that it be repeated at least weekly in order to ensure the health and safety of the environments. In order to maintain the highest standards of healthfulness in the environment, between one treatment and the next, we provide for the use of timed dispensers that mist sanitizing products into the air that provide constant environmental sanitization.

The deratization activity is always preceded and followed by a monitoring phase which helps the technician to understand the nature, the stage of the infestation, its probable origins, and then design a proper control plan to solve the problem. Relying on effective prevention systems is the best way to avoid infestation by any species of cockroach. Although it is usual to refer to these insects by the common term cockroaches because of the morphological similarity between the various species, control interventions vary considerably depending on the pest itself. Each different species of cockroach has different biological and ethological characteristics that vary its behavior and habits. The initial identification of the pest during the monitoring phase determines the choice of intervention procedures, products and equipment to be used. Procedures to control cockroach infestations, identify any environmental, behavioral, or structural abnormalities that might contribute to or facilitate the development of these pests or interfere with the successful outcome of any treatments.

Flying insects are unwanted guests, and their control is done differently depending on whether you intend to defend an indoor or an outdoor area. Ciadit offers a suitable solution for all environments where flying insects are unwelcome and also effective tools for infestation control in high-risk industrial areas. In enclosed premises, preventive measures are put in place to prevent the penetration and establishment of pests. Specialized personnel from Ciadit will assess the need to place passive control garrisons to reduce possible access from the outside and abate insects present inside. The intervention carried out in outdoor areas aims to minimize the circumstances that may favor the attraction and development of flying insects. During inspections, environmental, structural or organizational anomalies that could interfere with the successful outcome of control actions will be identified, and the most suitable corrective solutions will be evaluated with the client. Multiple types of tools are used, evaluated on a case-by-case basis and for each individual reality, so that chemicals are not used where not strictly necessary.

The HACCP system was devised in the 1960s in the United States with the intent of ensuring that food provided to NASA astronauts would not have any adverse health effects and could jeopardize missions in space. HACCP calls into question everyone who works in the complex and multifaceted food supply chain. It is a self-control system that prevents food contamination hazards by relying on the systematic control of points in the processing where there is a threat of contamination of a biological, chemical or physical nature. Prior to the adoption of the HACCP system, controls were carried out downstream of the production process, with analysis of the wholesomeness of the finished product ready for sale to the consumer and backward corrective action if necessary. The HACCP system introduces the concept of prevention, analyzes possible hazards that can be verified at each stage of the production process and at subsequent stages such as storage, transportation, preservation and sale to the consumer. The purpose is to identify process steps that may represent a critical point. All of this places an important emphasis on food quality, particularly with regard to wholesomeness and safety, a concept that goes beyond mere customer satisfaction, but rather aims to protect public health. HACCP was introduced in Europe in 1993 and requires all food business operators to implement the protocol. Ciadit operates in full compliance with HACCP standards by supporting clients in self-control procedures.

Bird removal involves the use of a number of systems, totally environmentally friendly, to keep sparrows, gulls, pigeons and other unwanted bird species away from all kinds of surfaces. Through the installation of multiple systems, it is possible to inhibit the nesting or stopover of these animals. Preventive measures must be used to prevent the excessive proliferation of birds and their establishment in at-risk structures. Not only do birds create significant environmental degradation problems, but they also carry infections and diseases. CIADIT can develop ad hoc intervention plans to achieve the best response to the problem. The systems applied by our technicians are approved by protection agencies and do not cause harm to animals. There are many types of methods applied to respond to each individual reality: electronic systems, mechanical deterrents, use of anti-intrusion nets, use of anti-poaching cables, and even the use of trained raptors. Since the late 1990s, bed bugs have once again become a widespread problem, with harmful effects on humans. The main causes are increased immigration, changing pest control methods with the elimination of DDT, and the development of immunity to some insecticides. Bed bugs , reddish-brown oval insects 5 mm long, are an invisible reality found in mattresses and near beds. They are nocturnal insects that feed exclusively on blood. The stings are not immediately painful, but red dots appear later and can result in inflammation. A female can lay up to 500 eggs in her lifetime, the eggs take about 10 days to hatch, and the young reach the adult stage through 5 nymphal stages. Adults can live for several months without feeding. Within a year, 4 generations may follow one another. The categories most at risk are hotels, hospitals, schools, cinemas and consequently private individuals. Ciadit has developed the Lehua System, a method to monitor, prevent and eliminate the problem at its root.

Warnings, tips and new ways to fight

The pine processionary moth (Thaumetopoea pityocampa) is an insect of the order Lepidoptera; caterpillars live from November inside nests in pine trees and feed on their needles from September to April. In February and March (depending on the climatic zone) they begin their descent down the stem of the host plant, forming the famous processions, in search of a place to bury themselves and begin the process of metamorphosis into chrysalises.

To cope with this pest, the Procex collier is used in the field of environmental pest control: a real collar for capturing processionary moth caterpillars that does not require the use of pheromones and is reusable by simply replacing the "collector bag".

Maybe not everyone knows that...

Already the ancient Romans made use of controlled atmospheres for grain storage. By storing in large, dry, well-sealed underground silos, the stored commodities remained isolated from the outside environment. Plant transpiration depleted oxygen, creating carbon dioxide and causing the death of eggs, larvae and pests. The environment became sterile and ensured long shelf life for the foodstuffs!

Fumigation activities, hot-air treatments and the use of controlled atmospheres are excellent alternative techniques to pest control.
Excellent results, and increasing demand in the marketplace, especially in the food industry. Fumigation involves the elimination of pests from grains (rice, barley, oats, wheat, corn), spices, dried fruits, medicinal herbs, cocoa and hazelnuts. Ciadit has three sanitary cells and qualified technicians to be able to treat foodstuffs; alternatively, treatments can also be carried out at customers' premises. The response of these treatments is also excellent for furniture woodworm.

POWER SC
Insecticide in concentrated aqueous suspension, based on Deltamethrin, Prallethrin and PBO, suitable for treatments on contact surfaces and cracks/cracks, suitable for treatments in the Food Industry. The presence of three active ingredients makes it possible to achieve insecticidal action even in the presence of pest strains that have become particularly tolerant.

 

CATCH-IT
Specific trap for catching and monitoring cockroaches and other creepy crawlies, consisting of a sticky cardboard inside which an attractant is placed. CATCH-IT does not involve the use of insecticides and/or chemicals allowing it to be placed on all places and/or environments.
