My range of treatments
These treatments will help you relax and feel better again:
– Classic massage
– Foot reflexology
– Lymphatic drainage
– Cupping
– Moxibustion
– Sports massage
Classic massage
... is the most common manual therapy and benefits both athletes and non-athletes alike. It can be used to prevent problems and maintain good health, but also to treat a variety of issues.
– Promotes blood circulation and metabolism
– Relaxation of muscles and connective tissue
– Loosening of tissue layers
– Reduces stress, strengthens the immune system
– Increases well-being
Sports massage
... is a form of massage that primarily aims to prevent sports-related injuries. The desired results depend on the requirements of the muscles. It serves to improve performance, supports recovery from overexertion during sports, and, last but not least, aims to promote local and general relaxation. The term "sports massage" refers to the application of massage as part of a training program and before, during, and after competition or training. Sports massage primarily uses the techniques of classic massage and is individually tailored to the sport, the athlete, and the sporting objectives.
The aim of sports massage should be to identify and eliminate conditions that impair performance and to have a beneficial effect on the athlete's bodily functions.
I have been working with regional soccer clubs since 2003, currently with the first team of FC Hergiswil (2nd interregional league).
Alarm pain treatment
Alarm pains occur when the brain wants to protect us from imminent physical damage. In the vast majority of cases, it is not damage such as osteoarthritis, heel spurs, carpal tunnel syndrome, calcium deposits, herniated discs, etc. that cause the pain. Arthritic, worn cartilage has no pain receptors, so it does not hurt. What hurts is everything around the joint: the capsule, the muscles with their muscle sheaths, the nerves that are not free in the bottlenecks, the joints and vertebrae that are not loaded properly, the restricted joint mobility, etc.
You tell them your entire medical history and how it all started. The therapist performs mobility tests. At the end, the therapist simply wants to know from you where exactly the pain is, in which position or during which movement the pain is triggered. You trigger the pain at a certain joint angle, e.g., at 60 degrees of knee flexion. You remember this pain; for you, it is now 100%. The therapist presses on a number of bone points that you perceive as exactly the pain you always feel, but also on other points a little further away that also hurt but are only indirectly related to your pain. The pressure on the bone points is relatively strong, but quite bearable. You can say at any time if it is too strong.
After this PERIOSTPRESSING, 90% of patients who previously remembered the pain as 100% feel between 0% (no pain) and a maximum of 30% remaining pain.
Kinesiological tape
The method
Kinesiological tape is often still referred to as a revolutionary therapy method. However, kinesiological taping has been used worldwide for more than 35 years with great success for all types of pain problems, such as neck problems and back pain.
The kinesiology tape method was developed by Japanese chiropractor Dr. Kenzo Kase back in the 1970s.
His main goal was to support the body's own healing processes using a special material and the appropriate application technique.
Kinesiology tape is modeled on the properties of the skin and thus transmits positive sensory information to our body. The application techniques were developed after kinesiological testing and were therefore also responsible for the name of the material and the therapy.
Foot reflexology massage
... is a popular massage technique based on the assumption that all organs of the human body are reflected on the soles of the feet. Through the targeted application of stimulating stimuli, reactions are triggered in the corresponding organs from the feet, activating the body's self-healing powers. The treatment has an effect on both the physical and mental-emotional areas.
– releases energy throughout the body
– induces physical and mental relaxation
– activates the body's self-healing powers
– strengthens the immune system
– Regulates organ and gland functions
– stimulates blood circulation and metabolism
– dissolves deposits and waste products
– promotes excretion
– For sleep disorders
– Headaches, migraines, chronic sinus problems
– Digestive problems
– Circulatory and blood flow disorders
– Allergies, eczema
– Menstrual and menopausal symptoms
Psychozon massage
... is a very gentle massage technique that induces a deep state of relaxation. The aim is to release physical and mental blockages that are responsible for restlessness, lack of concentration, sleep problems, physical and mental exhaustion, burnout, various types of addictions and fears, etc. Psychic zone massage is also very suitable for children and adolescents.
– Restlessness, lack of concentration
– Nervousness, stress
– Sleep disorders
– Energy blockages
– Exam anxiety
– Addictive behavior
– Physical and mental weakness
– Menopausal symptoms
– Insecurity, inhibitions
– Relaxation and promotion of well-being
Lymphatic drainage
... the lymphatic system transports waste products from our body, such as toxins and excess tissue fluid. If this disposal process does not function properly, it can lead to disorders in the lymphatic system. Water retention, swelling, and congestion can occur. Manual lymphatic drainage helps to stimulate our lymphatic system and drain the tissue. Recommended for:
– General regeneration
– Eye bags, couperose, facial edema
– Acne, rosacea, scars
– Migraines, headaches
– inflammation of the nose, throat, and ear area
– Chronic conditions such as colds, bronchitis
– Allergies (hay fever)
– Strengthens the immune system, boosts overall resistance
– Swellings caused by injuries, bruises, sprains, hematomas
– Surgery (pre- and post-operative conditions)
– Edema due to venous lymphatic drainage disorders (swollen legs)
– Menstrual problems in women (increased water retention)
– Cellulite treatment (bikini figure)
– Pregnancy care
– Rheumatic diseases
– Osteoarthritis
Cupping
... has a long tradition both in China and here. Cupping glasses are used to create a vacuum, which increases local blood circulation. This activates the metabolism and removes toxins and waste products.
Moxa
... is a heat treatment using glowing mugwort at precise acupuncture points or zones. The heat penetrates deep into the tissue, increasing blood circulation and oxygen exchange in the respective area, the meridians, and the organs.
