The municipality of Blenio was established on October 22, 2006, with the election of the municipal council and mayor, after the merger of the five municipalities of Aquila, Campo Blenio, Ghirone, Olivone, and Torre was decreed by the Grand Council on January 25, 2005.

MUNICIPAL SECRETARY

The Municipal Secretary is responsible for the Chancellery and General Administration: he directs, supervises, and coordinates the administrative work assigned to him by law, in accordance with municipal regulations or at the request of the Town Hall or the Mayor. He is the Secretary and registrar of the meetings of the Executive and Legislative Bodies. He is the point of contact for all matters relating to relations between citizens and the municipal authorities.
