THETAZ Ingénieurs Civils SA

The office is headed by Mr. Jean-François Thétaz, an ETS engineer, who graduated from the Fribourg engineering school in 1987.

The office is registered in particular on the permanent list of civil engineers of the State of Valais and is a member of the Association Valaisanne des Mandataires de la Construction (AVMC). 

Its main area of activity is focused on reinforced concrete, steel and timber frame structural work. It is able to carry out construction projects (buildings, industrial halls, etc.), renovations, building structures, sewage collectors, roadworks, stream correction and river embankment.
The office is equipped with 5 networked workstations: 

• 4 workstations are equipped with drawing programs

• (2 x Autodesk Architectural Desktop and 2 x Autocad)
• and the Bacad reinforcement program. These
• programs are regularly updated and are
• compatible with DXF-DWG or other files.

Study, calculations, tender and design of reinforced concrete, metal or wood frames for the construction or conversion of buildings, villas and various structures in the housing sector.

Civil engineering

Studies, specifications, tenders and designs for roads, engineering structures, parking lots and underground infrastructures.

Paraseismic engineering

Study and design of earthquake-resistant elements in various structures. Drawing up of seismic pre-dimensioning reports (RPP) and compliance reports on completion of works.
