Chambre immobilière Valais (CIV)

The Valais Real Estate Chamber is the body responsible for defending and promoting built and unbuilt property in the French-speaking part of Valais. Our non-profit association brings together nearly 2,000 owners and managers.

Our main objectives are:

• To support, represent, and defend property ownership in the canton
• To promote home ownership
• In the face of increasingly complex legislation, to inform and advise property owners
• Provide working documents to owners and managers
• To study any draft legislation affecting land ownership
• Act as a liaison between members and the relevant authorities and services
• Contribute to proposing reasonable land use planning
• Informing and advising property owners on energy efficiency
• Provide our members with a free copy of the magazine "Propriété" published by the Fédération immobilière romande (FRI), our umbrella organization

Each CIV member is entitled to one free consultation per year with one of these advisory offices. Specialists are available to provide you with all the legal information you need in the area of landlord-tenant relations.
