In 1950, Gilbert Pagliotti, a carpenter and cabinetmaker by profession, set up his own workshop in Martigny-Bourg. 
At the time, coffins were made to measure and to the request of families.

4 years later, understanding the need to professionalize the funeral industry and the manufacture of coffins on a larger scale, he founded his Agence Funéraire in which, he associated his sons Roland, Eric and Olivier from the 1980s.

From 1954 to the present day, the latter remains a family-run business that takes great care to listen to bereaved families. 
Always with a view to improvement, Gilbert Pagliotti created the Association valaisanne des Services funèbres (AVSF), in order to mediate with the various Valais authorities.

Taking over the reins from their father, Eric and Olivier obtained their Brevet Fédéral d'Entrepreneur en Pompes funèbres, to demonstrate the seriousness of the business and their professionalism.

The purpose of the pompes funèbres is to assist the deceased's loved ones with the administrative procedures and the organization of the funeral, respecting their wishes.

We created in 2018 a funeral space.
