Jeanstar SA

Jeanstar SA is a family-owned company belonging to the Zheng Group and located in Matran, in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland.

Created in 2010 in the canton of Jura, Jeanstar SA is a limited company specializing in the trade of watch components for mechanical watches. Since the beginning of 2015, our manufacture as well as our headquarters have been located in our new building in Matran, in the canton of Fribourg (Switzerland)

To date, we mainly market oscillating weights, which are one of the essential parts in the composition/manufacture of a mechanical watch. In addition, we use our own tungsten alloy, ideal for machining tasks, which is currently the subject of a Swiss patent.

Jeanstar SA, also acquired the Swiss watch brand DAMAS in the course of 2011 to give it a second lease of life. Damas is a prestigious watch brand founded in 1903 in Tramelan, in the canton of Bern, by the Beguelin family.
