Carrozzeria Brumana SA

The body shop was founded in Lugano in the 1950s by Flavio Brumana. The small workshop carried out repairs and painting of cars, drawing on the experience that the owner had gained by starting to work at a very young age in companies in the sector in his native Vernate and then in Zurich.
 
The growth of the business required more space, and in 1965 the company moved to Via Maderno in Mendrisio. The arrival of a new partner led to a change in the company name to "Carrozzeria Brugnoli - Brumana," until 1966, when Mr. Brugnoli withdrew from the company and it returned to being owned by Mr. Brumana.
 
The constant expansion of the business led to the relocation of the headquarters in 1972 to Via Franscini and in 1973 to Via Maspoli, with a property value of 3,000 square meters. Equipped with a workshop, drying ovens, storage areas, and a small building, as well as space for movement and parking of vehicles. The ample space offered by the new premises encouraged further growth of the business until 2012, when the brand new Brumana SA body shop, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, was built at Via Rime 11. Today, Carrozzeria Brumana SA, owned by Enrico and Dario Brumana, boasts one of the best body shops in Switzerland.

The Brumana body shop has 3,000 square meters of space with dedicated work areas. The areas are divided into five steps, from vehicle reception to delivery. The latest generation "Blackhawk" electronic jig bench, eight ovens with preparation areas equipped with bridge lifts, including the SAICO Zero oven par excellence.
