The Morget Fire and Rescue Service (SIS Morget) brings together 24 urban and rural municipalities from the Morges region, representing over 55,000 residents. Created on July 1, 2011 as an inter-municipal association and operational since January 1, 2012, SIS Morget works daily with proximity, discipline, and commitment to ensure the safety of the population.

Our structure includes:

• a First Response Detachment (DPS) spread over 3 sites,

• a Support Detachment (DAP) with 3 specialized sections,

• and an in-house training school (EFDPS and EFO) for both basic and ongoing firefighter training.

Strong and comprehensive training

At SIS Morget, training is a priority: from using self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) to obtaining a truck driving license, from fall protection to technical drills and operating emergency vehicles – each firefighter is rigorously and progressively trained.

We are also proud to welcome Young Firefighters (JSP) from the age of 10, to pass on the values of solidarity, courage, and service to the community from an early age.

SIS Morget is ready to respond 365 days a year, 24/7, for fires, floods, natural disasters, traffic accidents, or other emergency situations. The Morges site also intervenes on highways for road rescue operations.

• OI St-Prex: Chemin de Vergognausaz 45, 1162 St-Prex
