A Côté ? It's an old house with a long tradition as an inn, located in the center of the village, a stone's throw from the train station and opposite the Priory. Until spring 2014, it housed a small hotel-restaurant, the "National".
It was bought and gently renovated from top to bottom by enthusiasts, founders - a long time ago - of an itinerant theater under a big top, the Théâtre TEL QUEL, then of the Maison du Théâtre in Couvet, a place of creation and residence for artists.
More recently, for three summers, these unconditional fans of encounters became the owners and hosts of an ephemeral Café at the Musée régional du Val-de-Travers in Fleurier.
A Côté? A funny name. Or maybe not, because A Côté, is never far from you, is where the grass is greener, where everything is gently offbeat...
A Côté has become a house with multiple lives. There's a bright little Café, a small room and a pretty terrace, open on weekends and periodically with exhibitions, concerts and at aperitif time, meetings with people with captivating life trajectories.
You'll also find five guest rooms.
