Our history

Founded in 1987 as a merger of three diagnostic laboratories in Switzerland, Unilabs expanded rapidly through the acquisition of renowned quality laboratories throughout continental Europe. In 2007, Unilabs merged with Capio, a leading diagnostic imaging provider with a presence in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and the United Kingdom. This merger positioned Unilabs as the undisputed number one diagnostics provider in Europe 

Since then, our company has experienced continuous growth, coupled with a steady expansion of our portfolio of state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures. From its European roots, Unilabs has developed into a global player whose new offerings in the field of genetic medicine and pathology - among many other specialties - are setting standards worldwide.
