A hundred and fifty hectare island clinging above Lake Murten, the Vully vineyard is certainly one of the smallest, but also one of the most charming wine estates in Switzerland.

 

Because of its privileged location between lakes Morat and Neuchâtel, Le Vully has always attracted many tourists with its mild climate.

The vineyard benefits from an ideal climate allowing slow, gradual ripening of the grapes thanks to Lake Morat.

For over a decade, we've followed the principles of viticulture raisonnée in harmony with nature.

Chasselas

Typical of French-speaking Switzerland, produces fine, elegant wines.

Chardonnay

Originally from Burgundy, this variety produces racy, powerful white wines.

Sauvignon

Original to the Loire region, this grape gives an expressive bouquet with fresh fruit and lime character.

Viognier

Original to the Côtes du Rhône, this grape produces a wine with apricot and peach aromas.

Pinot-Noir

Noble grape variety from Burgundy. This ruby-hued wine proudly expresses the terroir of its region.

Gamaret

Grape variety originally from Switzerland. Rich in colorful tannins. Wonderful in blends.

Garanoir

Grape variety originally from Switzerland. Fruity and colorful. Wonderful in blends.

Merlot

Variety widely distributed in the Bordeaux region, produces structured, intense wines.

Cabernet

"Jura", a new disease-resistant grape variety from a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Muscat bleu (Garnier).

Diolinoir

From a cross of grape varieties, Rouge de Dioli and Pinot-Noir. Peppery and tannic. This variety is interesting in blending and has good aging potential.
