A 150-hectare island perched above Lake Murten, the Vully vineyard is certainly one of the smallest, but also one of the most charming wine-growing areas in Switzerland.

 

Thanks to its privileged location between Lake Murten and Lake Neuchâtel, Vully has always attracted many tourists with its mild climate.

The vineyard benefits from an ideal climate that allows the grapes to ripen slowly and gradually thanks to Lake Murten.

For more than ten years, we have been following the principles of sustainable viticulture in harmony with nature.

Vinified and produced with passion, the wines of Domaine de Villarose benefit from family expertise.

Modern facilities allow each grape variety to reveal its character and personality.

Chasselas

Typical of French-speaking Switzerland, it produces fine, elegant wines.

Chardonnay

Originally from Burgundy, this grape variety produces racy and powerful white wines.

Sauvignon

Originally from the Loire region, this grape variety produces an expressive bouquet with notes of fresh fruit and lime.

Viognier

Originally from the Côtes du Rhône region, this grape variety produces wines with aromas of apricot and peach.

Pinot Noir

A noble grape variety from Burgundy. This ruby-colored wine proudly expresses the terroir of its region.

Gamaret

A grape variety originating in Switzerland. Rich in colorful tannins. Wonderful in blends.

Garanoir

A grape variety originating in Switzerland. Fruity and colorful. Wonderful in blends.

Merlot

A grape variety widely grown in the Bordeaux region, producing structured and intense wines.

Cabernet

"Jura," a new disease-resistant grape variety, resulting from a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Muscat bleu (Garnier).

Diolinoir

A cross between Rouge de Dioli and Pinot Noir. Peppery and tannic. This grape variety is interesting in blends and has good aging potential.
