Since 1902, the Johanneum has been an anchor point for people with a mental disability or learning disability - currently there are around 220 pupils, young people and adults. They attend school with us, clarify their career choices, complete an apprenticeship or work in our sheltered workshops. Boarding schools are attached to the school, while supervised and supported residential groups are attached to the training companies and workshops.
