Martial Guignet set up his locking systems business in 1997, after his locksmith apprenticeship and a few years' experience. 

Quite quickly, he became more interested in doors of all kinds. It was then that Martial Guignet set up Fermaporte. 

He completed various training courses for fire doors in 2005, then converted Fermaporte into a Sàrl in 2013. 

Currently, Fermaporte has 5 employees, is active throughout French-speaking Switzerland, and works with Swiss and European manufacturers!
