Bachmühle: even the name conjures up images of idyll and romance. The Bachmühle is indeed located somewhat off the beaten track, in the charming countryside between Köniz and Niedermuhlern. And yet it is easily accessible from Bern, taking around 15 minutes by car. But even without a car, you don't have to miss out on our culinary delights: the Bern-Niedermuhlern post bus stops right outside the building.

The Bachmühle has been family-owned since 1913 – meaning it has almost 100 years of tradition in hospitality, which is still one of our main priorities today! Enjoy an exceptional gastronomic experience in a family atmosphere.

In this idyllic seclusion, we—Ueli Bieri and Kjell Lundin—put our shared gastronomic philosophy into practice: refined, market-fresh cuisine in a rural setting. For our unusual creations, we therefore use mainly fresh, high-quality products from the region – meat from "happy" animals and crisp, healthy vegetables! With imagination and great skill, we transform these products into culinary poems in our kitchen – for our enjoyment and your pleasure!
