Accomplished corporate lawyer for over 19 years with various multinationals, Gilda Scheggia has gained considerable experience in business law, commercial dispute resolution, contract law, corporate law as well as corporate governance issues.

She advises entrepreneurs, financial intermediaries and foreign companies wishing to set up or strengthen their structure and organization in Switzerland. She also represents local and international clients in all aspects of labor law, tenancy law, intellectual property and contract law in all its aspects.

Gilda Scheggia participated in the establishment and launch of a Swiss digital bank, for which she was head of the legal department from May 2020 to February 2022.

Involved in providing high quality legal services and advice to numerous international organizations and companies (USA, Latin America and Europe), Gilda Scheggia notably worked for a leading fiduciary services company helping multinationals or family offices to invest and operate securely worldwide. Her role also included providing investment advice to a leading company with subsidiaries on four continents and assets under management of over US$3.6 billion.

Previously, Gilda Scheggia began her career as a legal manager in an international group and also worked in the legal department of a major Geneva bank.

Gilda Scheggia studied at the University of Fribourg and qualified as a lawyer in 2005. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Italian, with a good knowledge of German.
