History

The company was founded in 1890 by our great-grandfather as a small wainwright's workshop. As the amount of work in the wainwright's shop was constantly decreasing, our grandfather Josef Nussbaumer decided to complete a second apprenticeship as a boat builder in 1928. Boats have been produced in our shipyard ever since. At first these were clinker wooden rowing boats, later solid and plywood motorboats.

In the 1960s, our father Patriz Nussbaumer was one of the first boat builders in Switzerland to start building plastic boats of his own design. This trend has continued and the model range has been constantly expanded and modernized. We can currently offer four different boat models. These can be extended and equipped according to customer requirements.

In addition to boat building, we also carry out all service and repair work, offer moorings and professionally winterize the boats. One of our shipyard's specialties is the repair and restoration of old wooden boats.
