Primary care
We examine and treat our patients during general consultation hours. The focus is on the prevention of diseases. Vaccinations, parasite treatments and preventive examinations are designed to maintain your pet's health. Individual consultation is central to this.
Surgery
In our clinic, we perform castrations and soft tissue surgery such as the removal of tumors, foreign bodies or bladder stones. The endoscopic castration of female dogs is becoming increasingly important. We also treat cruciate ligament ruptures and patellar luxations. For complex orthopaedic procedures, we work together with specialized veterinarians.
Anaesthesia
Anaesthesia management also plays an important role in operations. Monitoring and surveillance of the patient play a central role here. Optimal pain therapy during and after the procedure is also important to us.
Internal medicine
The clinical picture is assessed on the basis of the patient's medical history and a clinical examination. If necessary, further diagnostics are carried out (e.g. blood and urine tests, X-ray, ultrasound). Taking all findings into account, a diagnosis is made and the patient is treated accordingly.
Imaging
X-rays can be used to diagnose bone diseases and joint problems and to visualize pathological processes of the internal organs. Dental x-rays can be used to visualize altered tooth structures. Ultrasound can be used to examine internal organs and the heart or to take tissue samples.
Ophthalmology
Ophthalmology diagnoses and treats eye diseases. We use modern instruments such as the slit lamp to examine the eye and surrounding structures in detail or the Tonovet to measure eye pressure.
Dermatology
Skin and ear diseases are often associated with itching, fur or skin changes. Diagnosis is based on microscopic examinations (cytology, skin biopsy) or blood tests. There is also a major focus on the diagnosis and long-term treatment of allergies (e.g. food or environmental allergies).
Cardiology
Cardiology deals with heart disease in dogs and cats. Animals are often presented with strained breathing, weakness or coughing. A cardiological examination using cardiac ultrasound, ECG and blood pressure measurement can establish a diagnosis and treat the disease.
Dentistry
Dentistry deals with diseases of the oral cavity and teeth. Professional cleaning is used for prophylaxis and to maintain dental health. Altered teeth must be treated or extracted. Dental x-rays are particularly helpful here. We also advise owners on preventive measures.
