INFOREST GmbH

Since my youth, I have dedicated my life to the forest and nature. It was clear to me early on that I couldn't just sit in an office, but also needed to get out into nature for work. That's why I started my training as a forest warden and graduated from forestry school at the age of 26. From 1990 to 2006, I worked 100% for the canton of Nidwalden as a district forester for the municipalities of Stansstad and Wolfenschiessen. In 2000, I also completed further training as a timber merchant, which gave me an insight into timber marketing.

When I was asked to manage the "Wolfschiessen Protection Forest Project", I took the plunge into self-employment in 2007 and founded my company InForest GmbH, which specializes in forest management, forestry project and construction management, planting and round timber marketing. I have now been in charge of the protection forest project in Wolfenschiessen (NW) for almost 10 years, which has been extended by the canton until 2025. The forest management concept of the Bürgenstock Resort in Stans (NW) is also one of my long-term projects and is under my management.
