A toilet that is not maintained leads to high limescale deposits in the inaccessible water channels of the toilet, resulting in expensive maintenance work. These areas cannot be reached without professional cleaning equipment and cleaning agents.
 
It is not the amount of water in the cistern, but the flushing capacity in liters per second that is decisive for proper flushing of the toilet siphon and the drain pipes up to the sewer connection. To ensure that the drain pipes (2) are flushed properly, the cistern (1) must be empty within 3–4 seconds. This ensures that the waste is flushed all the way to the sewer connection (3).

The Restclean system
The Restclean system essentially consists of three areas:
 

• Cleaning device with a central circulation pump and six variable, adjustable telescopic nozzles
• Cleaning agent, a mixture of descaling powder and nut shell granulate (biodegradable)
• A special device (balloon) for temporarily closing the toilet at the end of the toilet siphon

During servicing, the toilet is first temporarily closed at the end of the siphon using the special device (balloon) and filled with approximately 9 liters of warm water. The Restclean cleaning agent is then mixed with the water using the cleaning device and circulated in the water-carrying channels of the toilet for one hour. This achieves a circulation capacity of over 5,000 liters. During this process, the descaling powder and the limescale neutralize each other. The nut shell granulate in the cleaning agent ensures the mechanical dissolution of the resulting neutralization layer. In this way, the limescale is gently but efficiently removed and dissolved layer by layer. Since nut shell granules are significantly softer than toilet ceramics and the plastic in the cistern, the toilet system is not damaged in any way. All decomposition products can then be safely discharged into the sewage system.

There are no splashes during the entire closed cleaning process (CIP). What remains at the end is a light, pleasant sea breeze scent.
 
The toilet does not need to be dismantled for the Restclean service. We provide the service on site with our well-equipped mobile service vehicles. The toilet can be used again after just 2 hours. A complete Restclean service is available from as little as CHF 270, which is significantly less than the cost of replacing the toilet with a cistern. Our service also benefits office and commercial properties, clinics, residential homes, and entire residential developments.
