In 2005, today's Plan-Werkstatt Lüchinger commenced operations - at that time still under the name Bauplanung Lüchinger.

The history of Plan-Werkstatt Lüchinger

The company founder Walter Lüchinger originally trained as a carpenter. After his apprenticeship, he was introduced to drafting and project planning in the company and took over the planning and construction of the roof trusses part-time. The rest of the time he remained active as a carpenter.

In 2005, he decided to go into business for himself. He founded the company Bauplanung Lüchinger. In 2009, he moved into the office in Oberriet and his daughter Nadia (a qualified civil engineering draughtswoman) joined him as an employee. She worked in an engineering office until 2009 and then completed the construction management school at BZ Buchs on a part-time basis.

In 2012, the company was renamed from Bauplanung Lüchinger to Plan-Werkstatt Lüchinger.

Since 2018, Ronny Baumgartner has completed the team, the trained carpenter has further trained as a timber construction foreman.
