Giarolamo Maio

The company founder Girolamo (Gigi) Maio was born on April 28, 1953 in San Giorgio Morgeto/RC in Italy. He grew up in the world of painting from an early age. He always worked as a painter and helped with the restoration of churches in his younger years. In the 1970s, he emigrated to Switzerland and worked as a painter here too.

The sole proprietorship "Malergeschäft Maio" was founded in 1988. In 2000, his son Rocco Maio joined the company.
In 2012, Maio Malergeschäft was transformed into a public limited company - today "Maio Malergeschäft AG" with over 15 employees.

The clientele consists of private customers, property managers, corporate customers and architects. For us, satisfaction comes first. It is thanks to this attitude that we have made a good name for ourselves in recent years.
