Our mission: to support people suffering from cognitive disorders

Butini Patio is a medical-social establishment (EMS)specifically designed to accommodate elderly people suffering from Alzheimer's disease or a related condition. Opened in 2007, it is the fruit of several years of reflection in which the architects were closely involved from the outset. 

The perfect alliance between the institutional project and the architectural universe gives rise to a human and physical environment serving the well-being and quality of life of people with dementia. 

We place our action within the framework of the Butini de la Rive Foundation's mission, which aims to develop a program of care for people suffering from cognitive disorders, at all stages of the condition. We respect the ethical principle of autonomy, and guarantee that people can express their opinions and participate as actively as possible in community life. We offer a coherent package of services that integrates the needs of residents, their families and staff. 
Finally, the ongoing training of our staff and research activities on Alzheimer's disease are part of our responsibility as a specialized structure, always on the move and seeking improvement.
