Sorimont's aim is to enable parents to entrust their children to us with complete peace of mind in the knowledge that they are being cared for by professionals who encourage their development and socialization.

Each child placed at Sorimont is cared for by professionals who promote his or her socialization and development.

Children are welcomed into our structures from the age of 4 months to 6 years.
Sorimont is open to parents from Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm.
(The institution is never closed except between Christmas and New Year.)

Children are divided into 4 groups, according to age, in four distinct locations:

• Crèche La Mosaïque (private-subsidized) 2 groups: 1st floor, nursery from 4 months and 2nd, trotters up to 3 years
• Baby Sorimont daycare-workshop (private-subsidized) for children aged 3 to 4
• L'école enfantine (private) for children aged 4 to 6
• Crèche la Grenadine (private-subsidized) for children aged 4 months to 4 years

How are the vacations organized?
Kindergarten: according to the school calendar.
Baby-Sorimont and la Mosaïque: closed between Christmas and New Year's Eve
For école enfantine children whose parents work, a permanent service is provided between la Mosaïque and Baby-Sorimont (except between Christmas and New Year).
For planning purposes, it is important to announce your vacation dates as soon as possible, but at least one month in advance.

How are you billed?
School fees are paid in advance.
Kindergarten: quarterly or monthly.
Mosaïque and Baby-Sorimont: an invoice is sent each month, payable in advance.

Is there a registration fee?
Yes, the registration fee is CHF 50.00 for Mosaic and Baby Sorimont, and CHF 40.00 for Nursery School.

Is there a waiting list?
We don't have a waiting list, as we're not sure we'll be able to meet the growing demand. Nevertheless, please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.

Do children need to be insured?
Yes, children must be insured against accidents that may occur in the school environment, under our supervision.

When is the school closed?
The Sorimont institution is open all year round except for one week between Christmas and New Year. The nursery school is closed during school vacations, but for children whose parents work, Baby-Sorimont provides a permanent service.

What to do in the event of absence?
Parents are asked to inform us of their child's absence by the same day at the latest.

What to do if my child is ill?
Slightly ill children are accepted with their medication. However, for their own well-being and to protect other children, it would be advisable to provide alternative care.

What happens if we cancel our registration?
Once your registration has been confirmed, your place is reserved. In the event of cancellation less than 2 months in advance, one month's tuition will be charged.

What are the recommendations concerning attendance?
In order to promote a good adaptation to the group, regular attendance is desirable. As far as possible and in the child's best interests, attendance should not exceed 10 hours per day.
