• It's not recommended to have very hard water in the home : limescale reacts in the presence of alkaline substances such as soap and precipitates when water is brought to the boil or evaporates.  The result ?

This is the scaling of domestic installations such as boilers, washing machines, kettles, coffee makers, taps, shower heads, hot water pipes, etc.

• Boiler descaling is recommended by manufacturers every two or three years at most to validate the warranty. Checks on the condition of the tank, gasket and anode are necessary.

• Demudding is highly recommended, as the water in the heating circuit is loaded with minerals, metal oxides and impurities that form sludge. This sludge progressively clogs up the system, causing poor heat exchange efficiency and increasing energy consumption.
