Welcome

The Sophie Guyer retirement home is run by a non-profit foundation and is non-denominational. It offers elderly people accommodation and care places with services tailored to their needs and provides home care services for residents of Pfäffikon and Hittnau who require care and assistance.

Spitex Pfäffikon-Hittnau is part of the retirement home. This enables close and networked cooperation in the care and support of elderly people in the community.

The Sophie Guyer retirement home operates in accordance with the principles of responsible conduct and ensures that people can age with dignity by providing competent care and support. Maintaining and promoting physical, mental, and social abilities is a central part of the daily work of the center's employees.

The foundation board, management, and employees are committed to ensuring that the elderly residents of the Sophie Guyer retirement home continue to be respected and taken seriously in society.

Accommodation

 

Guyer House
The venerable Haus Guyer offers a very special living atmosphere in its own rooms for 10 people.

 
Böndler House
At Haus Böndler, 42 residents live in spacious, self-furnished single rooms and receive care and support as needed. In the residential group on the ground floor, 12 people with dementia receive tailored and competent care and support.

Zelgli House
The Zelgli residence can accommodate 22 elderly people in need of care in modern, spacious single rooms. For those who need more space or for couples, there are ten 2½-room apartments and one 3½-room apartment available on the second floor.

Haus Bachtel
Independent but not alone is the motto at Haus Bachtel. Thirteen 2½-room and five 3½-room apartments are available for couples or individuals who want to call on services as needed.

Stocker House

"Living with services" is one of the types of housing offered by the Sophie Guyer Foundation.
Combined with renting an apartment, with services tailored specifically to your needs,
for a secure and independent quality of life. The 10 two-and-a-half-room and two three-and-a-half-room apartments are suitable for two people. The two three-and-a-half-room apartments are preferably allocated to couples. The 12 studios are ideal for one person. You live in your own apartment, but you are not alone.

All five buildings are connected to each other in a closed system. A naturally designed park invites you to take a stroll and linger.

Care

At home with Spitex services
The Spitex services in Pfäffikon-Hittnau provide care, support, and assistance in your own home.
Nursing professionals enable you to continue living in your own home even if you require care. Home helpers ensure that your household continues to run smoothly.

Short-term care in the retirement center
To relieve the burden on family caregivers, we offer tailored care and support for people in need of care at the retirement center for individual hours, days, or nights. This allows them to get to know the facility, the people, and the services.

In the retirement apartment
In the handicapped-accessible retirement apartment, you can live completely independently or make use of some or all of the services offered by the retirement center. We will take care of your laundry, apartment cleaning, care, and support as needed, and offer you a variety of meals in the Zelglihaus restaurant.

In a single room
We guarantee your privacy in your personally furnished room. Hotel services such as room cleaning, laundry and meals are included in the basic rate. Care and support services are available as needed.

In the psychogeriatric residential group
In a specially equipped residential group with its own garden, we care for people with dementia in single or double rooms and tailor our services to the stage of the disease.

Help and care at home
Outpatient care offers quality of life at home.

The services provided by Spitex Alterszentrum Sophie Guyer are available to all residents of Pfäffikon and Hittnau. To this end, the municipalities have concluded a service agreement with the Alterszentrum Sophie Guyer Foundation.
