Social services:

The social services department implements adult protection measures on behalf of the KESB for all district municipalities. It also offers advice and assistance with personal, financial, and social problems.

In 2015, the social services handled 452 cases, 419 of which were legal mandates and 33 were personal assistance cases.

In addition to its office in Pfäffikon, the Social Services Department also offers its services at its office in Effretikon.

• Breathalyzer tests and dispensing of medically prescribed Antabuse
• Crisis intervention
• Case responsibility for outpatient measures (driving under the influence (FiaZ) or measures ordered by the courts in accordance with Art. 44, Art. 62, and Art. 63 of the Swiss Criminal Code)
