In 1922, Ernest Roth was founded by the father of the current Chairman of the Board. At the time, the company specialized in horse sales. The company grew rapidly, but the founder died as early as 1956, leaving the reins to his young son Ernest Roth, who was only 22 at the time. A dynamic man, he developed and diversified the business. At the end of the '50s, alongside the horse trade, Ernest Roth Jr. created a new field of activity in the sale of agricultural machinery. The company then expanded and in 1959, the current depot in the Grandes-Vies industrial zone, was built.
