In 1922, the Ernest Roth company was founded by the father of the current chairman of the board of directors. At that time, the company specialized in the sale of horses. The company quickly grew, but the founder died in 1956, leaving the reins to his young son Ernest Roth, who was only 22 years old at the time. A dynamic entrepreneur, he developed and diversified the business. In addition to the horse trade, Ernest Roth Jr. created a new line of business in the late 1950s, selling agricultural machinery. The company then expanded, and in 1959, the current warehouse in the Grandes-Vies industrial zone was built.
