GRANGE Ô FRUITS
From the origin of the fruit to our plates...
The fruit barn presents the five most commonly grown fruits in Switzerland (apples, pears, plums, cherries, and apricots) in an interactive and fun way. It allows visitors to discover how fruit trees are propagated and cultivated, how high-quality fruit is produced, and also to learn a little about their history, test their knowledge of fruit cuisine, and discover the distinctive signs of quality for processed products (PDO/PGI). Finally, you will learn more about the star of the Jura orchards: the red Damasson plum, which is used to produce Damassine PDO.
HANGAR Ô ALAMBICS
Still and brandy: what are their stories? How does a still work and how is high-quality brandy made?
Find out the answers to these questions in two areas: an interactive still and a show featuring...the collection of stills from the former Swiss Alcohol Board. This area allows visitors to discover Swiss alcohol policy from 1887 to 2015, shows how a still works, and presents the different types of stills through the unique collection of the former Swiss Alcohol Board.
Ô CAVEAU DES EAUX-DE-VIE
The brandy cellar offers a unique selection of brandies from all Swiss cantons, including regional specialties such as Damassine AOP, and a range of brandies that have won medals in competitions such as DistiSuisse and the Swiss Spirit Award.
