The Lorenzetti firm specializes in traditional craftsmanship which is still carried out today using the same techniques that were once used, while also performing modern craftsmanship.

 

• Chairs - Chairs, armchairs and sofas

Among the furniture components, great importance is attached to "seats." Mute witnesses of the various eras, chairs, armchairs and sofas increasingly maintain an antique value, affective more than anything else...

 

• Drapes

A strong characterization is given precisely by "drapery." The type of drapery also had its specific style, from the various in vogue succeeded by the French upper middle class (Louis XII, Louis XIV, etc...)

Before the invention of foam rubber, fillings were made from natural materials such as rivulet, wool, cotton, and horsehair hand-stitched and covered with cloth or leather....

What We Do

Stretched and/or upholstered fabric upholstery work is performed,  sofa reupholstery and new living room creations, as well as curtains of all kinds, beds and mattresses, carpeting and runners.

Tappezzeria Tesata Fabric upholstery on walls with cloth or acrylic fiber padding.We like our customers to visit our "workshop" during the processing of the various pieces to be restored, so that they can realize against the various techniques used.

 

 

• Mission

Although summarily, as we have seen, it is an important part of  our work as "upholsterers" to be familiar with the particularities that  composed the styles in vogue in the various eras. This is precisely in order to  be able to approach restoration by researching and employing not only the  most suitable materials but respecting the original forms, such as the  padding, nails, carvings... in such a way as to restore to  each piece of furniture its former luster. After all, this too is culture that is right never to be forgotten.
