Since January 1, 2016, the Bregaglia Health Center, formerly known as "Ospedale - Nursing Home of Bregaglia," has been an independent public institution that brings together various healthcare services under one roof: acute care ward, long-term care ward, dementia ward, doctor's office, pharmacy, Spitex, emergency room, physiotherapy, and other medical and therapeutic services.

The Health Center is easily accessible by both public and private transportation.
