Our philosophy

• Each family is personally cared for by "their" pediatrician. This is because a continuous relationship is extremely important for children.

• One of us is available every day until 6:00 p.m. and from 7:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. on Sundays for emergencies.

• We offer the full range of pediatric and adolescent medicine services.

• We place particular emphasis on good networking with local specialists.

• We consistently separate the areas for sick and healthy patients so that no one has to worry about becoming infected at the practice.

• The practice is never closed for holidays.

Services

We offer all standard examinations, such as preventive check-ups and vaccinations. We are available for emergencies and all problems and illnesses affecting infants, children, and adolescents (up to the age of 20).

• We usually perform a hearing test and hip ultrasound on your newborn at four weeks.

• Allergy tests, e.g., skin tests

• Lung function tests

• Hearing tests and eardrum mobility tests

• Eye tests and vision screening with Plusoptix (from 6 months of age)

• ECG

• X-ray

• Blood and urine tests and throat swabs

• "Plaster casting" for uncomplicated bone fractures, plaster removal

• Treatment of wounds and injuries

• Desensitization, e.g., for grass or birch pollen allergies

• EEG examinations (brain wave curve)

Consultative services
External specialists offer additional services in our practice rooms.

• Pediatric neurological assessment, brain wave curve (EEG), assessment of psychomotor development, ADHD evaluation, and autism evaluation by Dr. R. Huber

• Ultrasound examinations (e.g., abdomen, kidneys, bladder, thyroid, foreign bodies, head in newborns) Dr. S. Menzinger and D. Rehm

• Ultrasound consultation with Dr. G. Remsei

• Hip ultrasound by Dr. S. Menzinger, Dr. O. Gemperle, Dr. M. Schmidt, D. Rehm, and V. Franki

• Pediatric surgical assessment by Dr. M. Frech alternating with Dr. J. Fröschlin from UKBB

• Pediatric cardiology assessment by Dr. S. Navarini-Meury alternating with Prof. J. Günthard

• Pediatric orthopedic assessment by Dr. P. Ferrat

• Pediatric endocrinology assessment by Dr. S. Graf
