The Nicora & Vigizzi SA funeral home was founded in 1952 by Enrico Nicora and Aldo Vigizzi. It is currently headed by sole director Daniele Nicora of Locarno and director Marco Sgroi.

The company's main office, with all its operational facilities, offices, showroom, corpse preservation department, warehouses and vehicle fleet are located at Centro Funerario e Crematorio Locarnese SA located in the Locarno-Riazzino area, within walking distance of the main arterial roads and easily accessible by car from Locarno, Bellinzona, Lugano and Italy. We are located in the very center of Canton Ticino.

A representative office is located in the city center, at Via della Posta 14 in Locarno, to serve those who cannot reach the main office. At this location it is possible to receive by appointment only.

Our Funeral Home with our Locarnese Crematory Center is located in the municipality of Locarno in the Riazzino area and more precisely in the immediate vicinity of the large traffic circle of the Cantonale airport.
Our Center offers under one roof a totality of services:

• ceremonial hall of rectangular structure with 120 seats and 400 standing, flanked by a foyer that serves as a foyer and complement for grand occasions. A computerized sound system as well as an organ
is provided for ceremonies.
• four mortuary chambers with a glassed-in catafalque and cooled inside where the coffin is placed.
• the cafeteria located in the extreme-west part where the entrances are completely independent, sweeps with its glass windows in a vision of green and plain, furnished in an elegant and comfortable style and available to families who after the ceremony wish to entertain themselves with relatives and friends, with refreshments and buffet.
