Why did I become so passionate about training as a dog and cat groomer?

Because I am interested in everything to do with animals, especially dogs.

My curiosity was fully satisfied when I enrolled at the IFSA (Institut de Formation en Soins Animaliers) in April 2019.

As part of my distance learning course in "dog and cat grooming," the various classes cover all subjects directly related to grooming, of course, but also other topics such as: "The main breeds (pets and exotic pets), Welcoming, training, and behavior of pets, animal biology (morphology, anatomy, nutrition, and dietetics), Hygiene, care (well-being, aesthetics, and cosmetology), etc. Most of these subjects are written by veterinarians.

Because doing a practical internship lasting several months at a major grooming salon in Sion allowed me to:

- experience the daily pleasure of working with animals

- learn different techniques for brushing, detangling, bathing, blow-drying, cutting, etc.

- learn what "can be done" in grooming and what is "best" to avoid

- train in cosmetology

- discover—most interestingly, in my opinion—bath products suited to each type of coat, as well as treatments for specific problems.

And finally, because in life, we never stop learning, discovering, and marveling. Especially when, like me, you have the support of your husband in this adventure.
