Cork
Carefully selected and processed, cork forms the basis for a floor covering that is among the best that nature has to offer for living spaces in terms of ecology, building biology, and ergonomics. Cork is pleasantly warm underfoot, reduces impact noise, and is so elastic that every step relieves strain on the spine and joints.
Laminate
When it comes to laminate, there are virtually no limits to the color and style options. Since laminate can be laid over existing floor coverings without any problems, there are no additional costs for subfloor renovation. This makes this material particularly suitable for renovations.
Ship deck pattern
The parquet strips are always laid in individual rows. In each row, the strips are offset by one piece. The floor now resembles the planks on the deck of a ship. Since the planks are always laid quite randomly, this type of installation is also known as "wild pattern."
English pattern
This pattern is similar to the ship deck pattern, but here the strips are laid in individual rows, offset by half the width of the parquet strip.
Herringbone pattern
This is a more classic pattern in which two parquet strips always form a "V." The Vs are then lined up next to each other. It is more suitable for large rooms and creates interesting light effects.
Old German pattern
Here, the parquet strips are arranged as in the English pattern, but always laid double next to each other. A shortened strip, rotated by 90 degrees, is now laid between each pair of strips, creating a woven pattern.
Parallel pattern
This pattern is almost self-explanatory. The parquet pieces are arranged parallel and always at the same height.
Cube pattern
In this pattern, also known as a panel pattern or, in layman's terms, a checkerboard pattern, individual strips are arranged in squares, with the orientation of each square rotated by 90° in succession.
Ladder floor
In this pattern, the floor is covered across its entire width with a row of parallel strips, alternating with a single row running perpendicular to them.
