Cork
Carefully selected and processed, cork forms the basis for a floor covering that is ecologically, biologically and ergonomically one of the best that nature has to offer for the living area. Cork is pleasantly warm underfoot, tread sound-reducing and so elastic that every step relieves strain on the spine and joints.
Laminate
In the laminate sector, the color and style options are virtually limitless. As laminate can be laid over existing floor coverings without any problems, there are no additional costs for underlay renovations. For this reason, this material is particularly suitable for renovations.
Bonded flooring
The parquet strips are always laid in individual rows. In each row, the strips are offset by one piece. The floor now resembles the planks on the deck of a ship. As the planks are always laid quite randomly, this type of installation is also called "wild bond".
English bond
This bond is similar to the ship's floor bond, but here the strips are laid parallel in individual rows offset by half of the parquet strip.
Fishbone pattern
This is a more classic pattern in which two parquet strips always form a "V". The Vs are now strung together. It is more suitable for large rooms and creates an interesting play of light.
Old German pattern
Here, the parquet strips are arranged as in the English pattern, but always laid twice next to each other. A shortened strip, rotated by 90 degrees, is now laid between each pair of strips to create a weave pattern.
Parallel bond
This pattern is almost self-explanatory. The parquet pieces are arranged parallel and always at the same height.
Cube pattern
In this pattern, also known as a panel pattern or, in layman's terms, a chessboard pattern, individual strips are arranged in squares, the orientation of each square is rotated by 90° one after the other.
Ladder floor
In this pattern, the entire width of the floor is covered with a row of parallel strips that alternate with a row of individual strips running across them.
In this pattern, individual strips are arranged in squares, the orientation of each square is rotated by 90° one after the other.
