The BRIO - Bureau Régional d'Information et d'Orientation

The Bureau Régional d'Information et d'Orientation (BRIO) de la Côte is aimed at the elderly, dependent, losing their autonomy or suffering from psychological problems, as well as their entourage and close caregivers. Professionals in the medico-social field can also call on BRIO, as can anyone seeking specific information.

The missions of BRIO are to :

Inform about the services offered by the health and medico-social institutions of the Canton's health networks,

Advise the population and network professionals,

Orienting users with a loss of autonomy at the end of a hospital or rehabilitation stay (CTR) and  carrying out the necessary steps for their discharge,

Centralize and process requests for long- or short-term accommodation based on EMS availability,

Accompany people at home or hospitalized with the procedures for entry into Etablissement Médico-Social (EMS),

Whether you're hospitalized or at home, and you have questions about  options for staying at home, short- or long-term accommodation, financial aid, etc.... The coordinating nurses and social worker are there to help you and answer your questions.
