Exercise makes you happy...
Move Yourself! Exercise makes you happy
Every body wants to be moved. Whether actively through exercise or passively through touch and manual manipulation of the muscles. Active movement helps to maintain or build muscle, put adequate strain on the cardiovascular system to prevent illness, and maintain mobility and mental health by letting off steam or "going within." Massages and passive treatments are ideal for taking time out and recharging your batteries, or for treating seemingly minor problem areas that can make a big difference to your quality of life.

Native languages: German and Italian, very good English skills. Basic knowledge of French.
After 10 years of professional experience, I started my own business as a physical therapist in 2021 after the birth of my second child. For two years, I had the privilege of working with Clara and Johannes Mathis, renowned experts in the world of physical therapy. After they retired, I opened my own practice.
I specialize in the treatment of myofascial complaints using trigger point therapy and dry needling. I also specialize in pelvic floor therapy and lymphatic therapy. Of course, patients with all diagnoses are welcome, and my extensive knowledge of manual therapy and sports physiotherapy is always helpful.
I like to spend my free time with my family or being active. Of course, I prefer to be outdoors in nature, in the forest or in the mountains.
Exercise has always been a central aspect of my life. I tried out various sports as a child. After training as a physical therapist, I continued my education as a sports physical therapist and Pilates instructor. Teaching correct posture, movement, and training planning are great passions of mine. I would be happy to accompany you on your journey to discovering your new movement possibilities.
PHYSIOTHERAPY
Trigger point therapy and dry needling
Muscular pain points, with or without radiating pain, can cause not only pain but also effects such as loss of strength, loss of coordination, and vegetative disorders. These can be treated with manual trigger point techniques and dry needling.
If the pain is myofascial in origin and has not yet become chronic, these treatment techniques promise rapid success. In the case of chronic pain, the muscular component of the pain can be alleviated and resolved.
Pelvic floor therapy for men and women
Pelvic floor weakness and bladder weakness affect us more than we would like to admit. Targeted exercises, specific therapy, and behavioral changes can help to counteract this.
In women, the cause is often pregnancy/childbirth and possibly injuries, but menopause can also trigger symptoms in this area.
In men, such problems sometimes occur after prostate cancer, but they also undergo physical changes during menopause, where help in this area is sometimes welcome.
I offer pelvic floor therapy with biofeedback as well as pelvic floor training with targeted exercises.
Sports physiotherapy
Whether you are a professional athlete, amateur, or hobbyist, patients are assessed and analyzed holistically, with a focus on the individual sport-specific strain and required abilities.
My in-depth knowledge of training theory, physiology, nutrition, and much more helps me to provide you with the ideal support on your sporting journey.
Lymphatic therapy
Swelling and edema are not uncommon after orthopedic and oncological surgery. Lymphatic massage combined with lymphatic bandaging helps to remove edema from the tissue.
For patients who have suffered from edema for many years, I offer intensive lymphatic therapy weeks to accompany the annual stocking fitting as effectively as possible.
Rates
In my practice, I specialize in trigger point treatment and dry needling. These services arecharged at CHF 68 per treatment . With a doctor's prescription, basic insurance covers CHF 48.
You will receive two invoices. One for your health insurance company and one for you, the amount of which will not be reimbursed by either your basic or supplementary insurance.
