Move Yourself! Movement makes you happy
Every body wants to be moved. Be it actively in training or passively through touch and manual deformation of the muscles. Active movement helps to maintain or build up muscles, to adequately stress the cardiovascular system to prevent illness, to maintain flexibility and mental health by "letting off steam" or "going into yourself". Massages and passive treatments are ideal for taking time out and recharging your batteries or treating seemingly small problem areas that can make a big difference to your quality of life.

After working for 10 years, I also started my own business as a physiotherapist after the birth of my second child in 2021. For two years, I was able to work with Clara and Johannes Mathis, known in the physiotherapy world as dry needling experts. After they retired, I set up my own practice.
My specialization lies in the treatment of myofascial complaints using trigger point therapy and dry needling. I also specialize in pelvic floor therapy and lymphatic therapy. Of course, patients with all diagnoses are welcome and my extensive knowledge of manual therapy and sports physiotherapy is always helpful.
I like to spend my free time with my family or exercising. Of course, I prefer to be outdoors in nature, in the forest or in the mountains.
Exercise has always been a central aspect of my life. I tried out various sports as a child. After training as a physiotherapist, I went on to train as a sports physiotherapist and Pilates instructor. Teaching correct posture, exercise and training planning are my great passions. I would be happy to accompany you on your journey to discover your new movement possibilities.
PHYSIOTHERAPY
Trigger point therapy and dry needling
Muscular pain points with and without radiation can have effects such as loss of strength, loss of coordination and autonomic disorders in addition to pain. These can be treated with manual trigger point techniques and dry needling.
If the pain has a myofascial cause and is not already chronic, these treatment techniques promise rapid success. In the case of chronic pain, the muscle-related part of the pain can be relieved and resolved.
Pelvic floor therapy for men and women

Pelvic floor weakness and bladder weakness are with us more than we would like to admit. With targeted exercises, specific therapy and behavioral changes, you can counteract this.
In women, the cause is often pregnancy/childbirth and possibly injuries, but the menopause can also cause symptoms in this area.In men, such a problem sometimes occurs in cases of prostate cancer, but they also go through a physical change during the menopause, where help in this area is sometimes welcome.
I offer pelvic floor therapy with biofeedback as well as pelvic floor training with targeted exercises.
Sports physiotherapy
Whether professional, amateur or amateur athlete, patients are viewed and analyzed holistically with a focus on the individual sport-specific load and required ability.
In-depth knowledge of training theory, physiology, nutrition and much more will help me to accompany you on your sporting journey in the best possible way.
Lymphatic therapy
Swelling and oedema are not uncommon after operations in orthopaedic and oncological cases. A lymphatic massage in combination with a lymphatic bandage helps to remove the edema from the tissue.
I am happy to offer intensive lymph therapy weeks for long-term oedema patients to accompany the annual stocking fitting as ideally as possible.
Tariff
In my practice, I specialize in trigger point treatment and dry needling. These services are charged at CHF 68 per treatment. With a doctor's prescription, basic insurance covers CHF 48.
You will receive two invoices. One to your health insurance company and one to you, the amount of which will not be reimbursed by either your basic or supplementary insurance.

Regression
Find your way back to your usual body and build up your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles. With the Move Yourself postnatal course, you can proactively prevent various complaints and get your body in shape with Pilates exercises:

- General deconditioning
From when?
You can take part in the postnatal course from around 6 weeks after a spontaneous birth. If you have had a caesarean section, perineal tear or episiotomy, please only start the course in consultation with your midwife or gynecologist.
Where?
The lesson takes place in the studio at Hafenstrasse 1 in Romanshorn (opposite Blumen Gschwend).
One lesson lasts 55 minutes.

Power Pilates
Power Pilates is an ideal form of training for strengthening the core muscles. Power Pilates at Move Yourself also works your arms, legs and bottom and challenges your stamina.
Power Pilates training incorporates the classic Pilates principles. The focus is on the quality of movement and the aim remains to strengthen the core for a more beautiful and pain-free posture. In addition, body awareness is trained and flexibility is improved.
The course takes place on the premises of Hafenstrasse 1 in Romanshorn (opposite Blumen Gschwend).One lesson lasts 55 minutes.

Individual running analysis and planning
Do you have pain when jogging and want to know whether you are running correctly or could optimize your running style? Do you want to achieve a particular running goal and need input for your training planning?
I will put together a program for you to make your running more efficient and I will help you with your training planning by incorporating special stimuli into your running training so that you can achieve your goal!
A running training session lasts approx. 60min with an additional second meeting to discuss individual exercises or training program approx. 45min
CHF 200.00 for running analysis with discussion of individual exercises and training planning.

We will evaluate your goals and put together a training program that meets your exact needs. Whether it's outdoor endurance training, indoor training to strengthen your body or a massage to relax.
