The classic Bahnhöfli spirit lives on in the dining room and the Sääli: down-to-earth, traditional, familiar. Here, the village pub is to be preserved and celebrated.

Regardless of the tried-and-tested Bahnhöfli ambiance, we wanted to create something new, exotic, and very authentic from the adjacent original garden restaurant. The result was the RIVERSIDE SALOON – Western Steakhouse and Bar – THE steakhouse in Root and the surrounding area. Here, tender steaks and juicy vegetables are grilled right before your eyes on an open fire (beech wood/charcoal).
At the entrance, you are greeted by two original carriages from the estate of Angy Burri, which already signal the concept of the new – and old – Bahnhöfli from the outside.
