In 2021, the Golf Club de Lausanne celebrated its 100th anniversary.
An audacious creation of a small number of people, the Golf de Lausanne benefited before the Second World War from the support of tourism circles, and hoteliers in particular. The situation changed in the post-war period with the extension of the course in 1961, an explosion in membership and the hosting of several major European and world tournaments.
